Hello all. My name is Patti and I try to do Graphic Design and Web Development here at PS Publishing. I have been given the challenge of posting something new and interesting here approximately once a week. Let me see...what shall it be today?  I have begun learning lots of new things lately so I am facing new challenges almost each and every day. Some I am overcoming and some I think have got me by the hair dragging me around...LOL. Take for example graphic design. There are so many programs out there how do you choose which one to use? I suppose it is all in personal preference and exactly what you are trying to do. I am trying to learn a couple of new programs and learn to use a pen tablet all at the same time. I have definitely fallen in love with the pen tablet. I got the small Bamboo Fun tablet by Wacom. This is my very first pen table and it is very easy to use (or at least all I have tried to do with it so far...LOL). I have been doodling, so to speak, a little everyday. I don't know everything and don't claim to even come close, but I am learning and like I always say as long as you're learning, you're still growing! Oh yeah, the caricature of me was done using the pen tablet and Corel Painter Essentials 3. Sorta wished I looked like that. That's why that is there. Oh yeah, this is also my first blog ever. See I told you I was learning new things! Well guess that's about it for now. Hope I haven't bored anyone to sleep. If you did fall asleep you better be careful I might draw a moustache on you or something. Well till next time...go learn something new and have a blast doing it. |

Life is very good these days. We are still working hard creating logos, getting photographs ready, designing book covers and web sites. We are never too busy to talk to you about your business needs. All consultants are back home and we are working hard on new projects. We had a great time in Gilmer, TX and are excited about the new things going on at PS Publishing. We are working on logo designs, web site templates and designs, t-shirt drawings and much more. Great to be back and be focused on the projects at hand. Thanks to our Personal Assistant, Cathy Fenton, we will be able to stay on schedule with all the new jobs coming up. |

We have just added a photo gallery that will showcase some of our designs. Right now there is one album with a set of drawings called Dawson Skateboarding. Our consultants meeting in Gilmer, Texas has been a success at this point. We are still in Gilmer, TX and spending some quality time with family, friends and business acquaintances.
